This past summer, we added three cats to our farm family. They are barn cats and play an important role in keeping the rodent population down around the farm. They spent the first four months living in the upper barn apartment, and now have been able to roam around outside for the past few weeks.
Any time we walk outdoors, we are greeted by all three of them. And I now do my gardening with them "helping" in any
way they see fit. That means trying to eat my work gloves or insisting to have the important "pet the cat" break. They are a lot of fun and the dogs have been slowly accepting them into the family.
